About Barbie Bowser

My passion for photography and documenting the world began shortly after I married my husband in 2008. Being a musician and a singer for most of my life, I have always been artistic but photography has opened up a new avenue of creative expression in the visual arts and has changed my outlook on life and the ordinary.

My documentary style, coupled with my skilled use of lighting and selective focus and knowledge of architecture, fashion and product photography, is what sets me apart from other portrait and event photographers.

Most of my photography is centered around people and capturing specific moments in their lives. By utilizing my refined skills and keen sense of composition, my aim is to capture that decisive moment when the guard is down and what is seen through my lens is a representation of that person's true persona. My photographs capture the true essence and spirit of the person allowing my patrons to relive the precious moments of their lives for years to come. It is my desire to give them images that are much more than just stiff posed moments
